  • What if I miss a class?

Group piano classes offer one makeup class per semester, during “makeup week”, which takes place after the final week of classes. Students may come to one class if they missed a class during the semester. Ensemble classes such as Suzuki Group, Rock Bands, Musical Theater, and Songwriting cannot be made up, due to the nature of the class.

For private lessons, the student must notify the teacher if they will miss a class. If less than 24 hours notice is given the lesson is automatically forfeited. Missed classes due to a true emergency on the student’s part should be made up via Zoom whenever possible. Teachers must provide 15 classes per semester (not including classes forfeited by the student due to no shows or late cancellations without a true emergency).

Little Canes Music classes cannot be made up due to the nature of the class.

Any classes cancelled by the teacher for any reason will be made up. Lessons and classes are non-transferable and non-refundable.
