Classes are packaged by semesters. We offer 2 semesters; fall and spring. Fall begins after Labor Day and runs through the beginning of December. Spring begins mid-January and runs through mid-May. During the summer, we offer summer camps, private lessons, and Little Canes mini-sessions.

Classes are located at the Frost School of Music. 5501 San Amaro Dr., Coral Gables, FL 33146

We also offer Little Canes classes in Brickell at the House of Movement 1900 Brickell Ave., Miami, FL 33131

What if I miss a class?

For Little Canes Classes, you may attend another age-appropriate class throughout the semester. Please Email the teacher in advance.

Group Piano classes include 12 weeks of scheduled lessons. This includes one "Makeup Week" at the end of the semester. Any classes cancelled by the teacher will be made up. Makeups are only offered during the currently enrolled semester. If a student is not able to attend a group class, please email us at frostprep@miami.edu to see about attending another class as a makeup. Our classes are not drop in and so any reschedules must be cleared with us.

Group Suzuki classes include 12 weeks of scheduled lessons. You may attend any other regularly scheduled class of the same level.

For Private lessons, please notify your teacher with 2 hour advance notice if you will be missing a class due to illness or an emergency. Makeups for other reasons will only be offered with 24 hour advance notice. Try to choose a lesson time in which you feel confident.

Do I have to stay in class with my child?

Students enrolled in Little Canes classes and Suzuki must attend all classes and lessons with their child as it is an integral part of the curriculum. For group piano and all other Frost Prep lessons and classes, parents do not to attend.
