Program Description:

The Frost Chamber & Orchestra Experience is a one-of-a-kind program tailored to the development of high school musicians into well-rounded young artists. Over the course of two weeks, you will gain insight into what makes a great collaborator in individual chamber music coaching sessions and orchestra rehearsals. You will broaden your understanding of classical music in theory and musicianship classes, as well as strengthen your solo technique in sectionals and skill-specific courses. Additionally, you will be able to explore new expressive avenues in open-format classes, including those on the application of extended techniques, preparing for auditions, practice strategies, as well as audition-based masterclasses with Frost School of Music faculty.
