About Frost Summer Jazz Workshop

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 worldwide, it has become necessary to suspend this year’s workshop.  We send our sincere thanks to our loyal audiences and aspiring young musicians who wished to attend this summer.  We are concerned most of all for your safety and continued health. Please join us again next year for a fabulous 2022 edition!

The Frost Summer Jazz Workshop at the Frost School of Music is not a typical “summer camp.” The curriculum focuses on students developing their artistry and preparing them for college. Students will cultivate both individual and collaborative skills.

  • Masterclasses in Jazz Theory and Harmony
  • Ensembles
  • Arranging and Composition
  • Recording Technology and Production Workshops
