All applications and materials must be submitted by 11:59 pm on February 1st, 2020.


All applicants must submit a video recording uploaded to YouTube. The video must contain the full repertoire that will be performed on the day of the live audition if selected.

All Finalist advancing to the live audition in Miami will be notified no later than February 8th.

All Applicants must submit proof of age (birth certificate, driver’s license or passport). 

Participants must perform the works submitted on the video.

Repeats are optional. However, performances could be stopped during the live auditions if time limits have been reached. No penalty is incurred if a performance is stopped due to time constraints.

Judges will provide written commentary for all participants.

Winners will be notified by a telephone call at the end of the day after the completion of all live auditions, and results will be posted on the competition website.

One original score of each composition must be brought for the judges. Photocopies will not be accepted.  Entrants who do not have an original copy will be disqualified.

In the four hands category arrangements are acceptable. The music for the four hands category does not have to be memorized.

Participants of the Concerto Competition Division are allowed to bring their own accompanists to the live audition. Accompanists on site will be provided at request for a fee of $150 which will include the performance and one-hour rehearsal. 

For the Solo and Concerto Divisions, all compositions must be performed by memory.

Winners must perform in the Winners Recital held on March 6th (Piano Solo Division Winners) and March 7th (Four–Hands and Piano Concerto Winners) at 7 pm. and be present at the award ceremony which will follow the concert. Photographs and video footage may be taken at the recital and used in media releases.

First, second and third prizes will be awarded in all divisions. First Prize winners in each category will receive a monetary award. Honorable Mentions may also be awarded and may be asked to perform in the Winners Recital at the discretion of the jury.
